News from tvaus.com.au says that Smallville has now been taken off for the moment and will be replaced with repeats of The SImpsons.
This is due to not enough people who have ratings boxes watching Smallville on Friday nights, and 10 thinks the people with ratings boxes will prefer repeats of The SImpsons.
I'm getting sick and tired of this. They should either play the show, or not at all. Stop farting about with it and annoying people who do actually like to watch it.
For Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane viewers the show is now gone. As reported The Simpsons will fill its slot. As most people are aware, Perth and Adelaide ended up being 1 episode behind. That episode has been scheduled. That episode will air Sat night 31st March at 11:35pm in Perth and 1 hour later at 12:35am in Adelaide. All states will be in sync for whenever the show returns.
Hi everyone I just found this site via the Ten website and I think this site has some good stuff on it like the preview section on the home page. However I am very unhappy with Ten at the moment because I thought that they would play the final show arrow tonight in Adeliade but the newspaper shows that the simpons repeats on instead!!!!! I also don't like the idea of having to wait a week and have the last show at or after midnight again people need their sleep too!! I have seen that Ten has also cut some other shows that I had enjoyed watching over the last few months such as charmed a while back (I can't wait to see the boxset from the video shop when I get the time) and the dog school show that my mum watches in only the last week or so. Anyway can someone please find a source that is more download friendly than the 300MB files shown on another section of this website. This is because my download limit is 400MB a month and I need the files to be compressed down to about a 1 MB a minute ie about 40 MB per show so I can start getting ahead.
Stupid stupid channel TEN!!!!!!!!!! Yeah i like the simpson, but how many repeats can we handle for cryin out loud! I'm so sick of the stupid cop law and order shows! Least Smallville was different. Put it back on I'm sick of watchin SIMPSON repeats, it's on everyday anway.
Was interested at the point that Smallville No 1 TV download. Well geez, I wonder why that is?!? Might it have to do with the way Australian commercial networks are forever dicking around with anything actually worth watching.
If it's sports, reality TV, lifestyle TV, yet another pathetic Aussie comedy or drama - even some new crappy game show - then it's guaranteed to be treated as a priority (esp by Seven or Ten). If it's something worth turning the box on for - especially if actually requires a braincell to watch - be prepared it be on-and-off, or shoved onto a late-night slot.
And we wonder why Pay TV is doing so well and why the best shows make such popular downloads. Might it have something to with the way our commercial networks are run by FU*KWITS who want to drive the nation to eventual retardation by filling the box with nothing but drivel!!
