Catwalk queen Megan Gale has stepped straight off the runway and on to the cutting room floor. The former face of David Jones has reportedly lost her on-screen role as Wonder Woman in the upcoming movie Justice League of America, the Daily Telegraph reports.
Gale isn't the only one who has been cut, however, with studio insiders claiming the entire cast has been let go after movie executives canned the production.
The movie was due to begin filming in Sydney in January but finance problems put the film on hold. When the federal government failed to deliver funds, director George Miller announced League would head to Canada and begin shooting in June.
But insiders have maintained their claims the film has been given the boot, saying it is officially off the books, leaving Gale to look for other work in LA.
Her agent rubbished speculation the film was on a permanent hiatus, quoted as saying: "to our knowledge the production is still going ahead ".
The director hasn't replied to enquiries.
This doesn't sound too good hopefully the film still gets made.
i hope so too, i would love to see MG in ww outfit...(no not for the reason my husband would would like to see) but i love ww, its a cool outfit, i want one......
Superman homepage says this hasn't been canned an they are looking at starting up the project next year..... so maybe still some hope for it to be made
