I was doing some research and apparently the cast has the option of signing on for a 7th season if the CW channel(American channel) will decide to keep screening it after the season 6 finale!!-of course i'm hoping they do!
i heard the creators of the show only ever intented to do seven seasons??? Who know, you don't want it to wear oout it's welcome and become silly!! Go out on top that's my motto!
i think kristin kreuk's contract was for 7 seasons, and i watched a video where she said after that she wants to move on to something new! so i guess it's the same for everyone else?
Personally they should have ended it once they finished high school...I mean it's called "Smallville" not "Superman" for a reason. Whilest I do love the show and am happy to keep watching it...I just think that the main purpose of the show has been forgotten and they're now more worried about the Superman thing...which isn't meant to be until he's an adult and working @ The Daily Planet with Lois (that's my main annoyance that they brought her in...I don't think they should have).

That's fair enough too, as people have mentioned, Smallville is about Clarks life before becoming Superman.
I don't think the person meant they hate Lois, they just don't like the fact they included her into Clarks life as a teenager...considering in all the movies, tv shows and comics....they meet when adults. But whatever....I like Erica...she's cool.

well,i guess all good things come to an end, thats still a whole new season,i wonder when season 6 will be shown here??
