It looks like our 'good friends' at Channel 10 have decided to bring SMALLVILLE back to our screens. Thats right, without any advertisments or warning, our favourite show suddenly appeared on Ch10 on Saturday night in a 6:30, time slot.

I did see a couple of advertisements but I must say with such a delay in running Season 6 I think channel 10 have shot themselves in the foot with die-hard fans having access to the episodes on line. This was made worse by teasing fans with a few (5?) episodes this year and then just cutting the series expecting people to tune in again later in the year. Sanity even has the release date for the DVDs set for October 8 and of course now we can download episodes from Series 7 as well. Moreover, I will find it hard to watch such "repeats", especially interspersed with commercial breaks full of government propaganda in the lead up to an election. I wonder what the ratings will actually be.

It would be interesting to see what the ratings were for last Saturdays episode. Does anyone know where we could see the ratings?

all i can think of is the OZtam (Australian Television Audience Measurement) website, but I couldn't see anything about the past weeks ratings, only weeks before...Keep checking back I spose..

On another note, I wan't to know what gives CHNL10 the right to butcher episodes of Smallville by cutting them to be suitable for G or PG timeslots.. I say, either play them at like 9:30, or if they are worried they won't get viewers, play them late at night, like 11:00, or NOT AT ALL...
And I can't get over the fact they axed the series at the begining of the year for bloody SIMPSONS repeats. don't get me wrong I love The Simpsons, but isn't 11 episodes a week a little too much??

I don't like The Simpsons at all so it was a very rude manoeuvre from where I sat. And about the episode butchering - I agree. It was rather sedate compared with the downloaded version. I am not sure I can bring myself to watch them again on TV, with commercials and all, and will probably hold out for the Season 6 DVDs.

I'm only going to tune in when Episode 10 "Hydro" airs.

In my opinion that's where it got VERY good.

I'm just hoping channel 10 keeps Smallville on until then.

I completely agree with the "episode butchering" its dogey how Ch10 does that. I noticed this when Season 6 started airing on tv. I had already seen it in September of 06, not sure if many recall but the scene when Lex stabs Lanas hand in episode 1.

That scene was cut down soooo much and then from then on alot had been cut. It was during season 6 that I noticed shots being cut. I hadn't noticed this during previous seasons and I had already seen up to season 5 from downloads when ch10 was still airing season 3.

I've signed up finally because I felt bad for asking for low quality episodes anonymously (I've posted around 3 times as anonymous). Once again I'd like to thank find_me_here for uploading all these episodes even though they are so large @_@", which is why I'm wanting to ask you if you could upload the lower quality episode =), if you can't yet, then it's ok, I'll wait! Thanks agaiN for uploading the First episode in lower quality ;).

I like all other users would like to thank Find_Me_Here for all the work that has been put in to keep us all up to date with our favorite TV show. I would also like to say that I too am disapointed in CH10 in there missing of an episode. From my memory the last episode shown early this year was the one with the plant phantom (Wither) The first episode shown last week was Reunion. What happened to Arrow which in my opinion was a critical story plot episode. In the words of CH10 "Shame CH10. Shame, Shame, Shame."

hey DC DAN,
channel 10 did in fact play the episode ARROW. but they did not advertise it and it was not aired at the usuall Friday night 7:30 slot, as they played it in a very odd 11:00 Saturday night timeslot back at the begining of the year. Which was a very stupid move by 10, as yes, it is a crucial episode 2 the series and most fans did in fact miss the episode.

That's a strange request given that you are posting in the "Episode Downloads" thread!

If you look back over this thread, you will find links to all episodes through to Season 6 and the first 3 episodes of Season 7. They are made available by find_me_here as soon as they are aired in the USA.
