WHO HAS SEEN THE SUPERMAN MOVIES?

Ive seen all of them, from superman 1 to superman 4, to superman returns, but i have to say that i didnt like  most of them, i liked superman 1 becuase it showed the the beggining of krypton exploding, clark coming to earth, and how he became superman, and i hated superman 2, and liked superman 3 cause they had lana in it, and even though clark liked lois, he was still nervous around lana, and superman 4 was ok but too short, and superman returns, well i didnt like that one cause it was just too serious, and i didnt like lex in that one, ok ive said too much,lol

WHAT DID YOU THINK OF THE SUPERMAN MOVIES?idea

I've only watched up to 3.

I liked 1 and 2.

3 was wierd, but I liked seeing Anette playing Lana. I like the irony of it. She played Clark's love interest, and now she's playing his mother.

And I started watching 4, and gave up. It was just too ridiculous.

Superman Returns was alright. Just thought that Brandon Routh looked too cartoony. Still liked it though.

i hated superman returns, cause when i was watching it, it felt like hours, lol, it was so boring the whole storyline, and i hated lois in that one, i think it was boring becasue i watched it a while ago when i wasnt a superman fan, and the whole movie plot bored me, i might watch it again, eh,

^ Yeah some people thought it dragged on a bit.

When one of my friends watched it, she stopped half way because she couldn't see anyone else playing "her" Clark Kent.. which is obviously Tom Welling..

So I guess Superman Returns isn't for all Superman fans.

yeah true, but i thought that that dude that played clark in superman returns was helerious, but i cant picture anyone else as clark, then tom welling, i think he should play clark in the movies too, cause then maybe some people wouldnt find it boring after, cause you get to admire him, couple of weeks ago i watched the fog, loved his acting in it, but i thought that he would have a deeper, rougher voice, but its just as same as in smallville, kind of dissapointing cause you want to see many sides to his acting,

The Fog -- I found it very boring.

I only watched it coz Tom Welling and Lost's Maggie Grace -- whom I have a huge crush on was in it.

And yeah, it was pretty wierd seeing Clark (Smallville) and Shannon (Lost) together making out in the shower. Whoaa.

i know, cause i only like him making out with lana, lol, but i didnt like that bit, cause when you watch tom welling in movies and stuff you still think of him as clark from smallville, but i didnt like the whole plot of fog, it ws boring, and i only watched it cause of tom, what a hottie, lol, and i watched cheeper by the dozen, and i was like, ok he looks really weird there, lol

I have all the movies in my 13 disk Collectors Tin Box, and seperately I brought the Supergirl movie as I hadn't seen it since I was a child.

I love the original film, and Superman Returns the most out of all of them.

I can't wait for the next film, Superman: The Man of Steel, set for release in 2009. The cast is coming back for it, as well as Singer directing it. There's going to be a lot more action and it will be darker than the first film, which sometimes kind of feels like a romance in a strange unrequited kind of way.

i haven't seen them in aaaaggeesss since I was a lil'kid i got to check them out again.

I didn't know there was gonna be another Superman. Superman: The Man of Steel in 09. Thats awesome! news biggrin I remember hearing it was a huge maybe (ie practically unlikely) them making another SM movie. But you've certainly boosted my SM morale wink

They're planning on making 3 of for the 'new generation' of fans. So, Superman Returns, SM The Man of Steel, and then whatever the 3rd will be titled. I guess it will depend on how well the third film does, that will determine if a forth is made.

na, i'll be finshed in 2010, so i'll be 19 in 2011, yeah i think christopher reeve was a really good superman, really potrayed him well, but i dont like that new dude that plays superman now, brandon or what ever his name is ,

Brandon did alright for what he was given to work with, although they inhanced his blue eye contacts a little too much in some scenes.

so you are only 2 years older then me, thank god there one person who hasnt finished highschool yet, i feel like a kid compared to some of you, ehehehhe, but brandon looked really fake, he looked like a cartoon, like a perfect clark, nobody is like that, lol

They all need to look like comic book Superman.

So they cast actors who look like him. i.e dark brown hair, tall and built.

Well the first two look similar as George and Chris were father and son. The only one that hasn't really looked like Supes, was Dean Cain, although I loved him as a kid lol

all the superman i know are christopher reeve, brandon routh, and tom welling, cause i wasnt a fan of superman, only became one a couple of months ago, cause i bacame obsessed with smallville, and the mythology,lol, the superman mythology fasanates me, my family thinks im weird cause thats all i talk about, lol

I don't think they were related.

George Reeves real last name was "Brewer" and only took the name "reeves" as a stage name for acting. Christopher Reeve didn't have an (s) on his last name, whilst Georges one did.

I think it was just a coincidence that they share similar last names - and both played Clark Kent/Superman.

Dean Cain was pretty cool in Lois & Clark. I remember watching him as a kid.
