Well I think that if they don't, it'll pretty much be a waste of 6 seasons leading up to Lana finally finding out Clark's secret and accepting him, then to just kill her off. I don't see the point.
But with only one more episode to go.. and Lana still being a Luthor I don't think it's possible that Clana could reunite.
If the "fake death" storyline ends up to be true then maybe.
I still voted yes though -- wishful thinking.

i dont care anymore, the whole death of lana, has changed my perseptions on lots of things, i dont care for ships anymore, if clana reunites, great, if not, i dont care, becuase i think the show should concentrate more on clarks destiny and his will to follow it, the whole superman mythology crap,
But can't Clark embrace his destiny, whilst having the support of the woman he loves?
Now that Lana knows, she can help him through it. Then later on the track Lana realises that she might be holind him back, and needs to break his heart. This can result him into moving out of Smallville and finally moving to Metropolis and become the clumsy Clark Kent that we all know.
Lana's death still angers me. Why does this need to happen now when she has just found out everything?

but even though they get back together in season seven, something happens because she is meant to leave at the end of season seven, as well as lex, becuase the both actors contracts expire after that, so they cant be together, well there a whole season, so who knows really,
I can undertand if Kristin's contract expired this year so they *had* to kill her off. But she has another season. Another season to show us how a Clana relationship can be like with no lies. I hope they don't waste this opportunity.
It just doesn't feel right to have Lana's character leave just yet -- considering all the events that took place this season. So many questions will be left unanswered.

i can garantee you she will live, this whole death of lana was rushed big time, so one more season with lana is so going to happen, but she has to leave sometime, ay, the show ends in two seasons, got to start saving up so i can buy all the dvds, cause i was just thinking that after its done it will be forgoten, and im sure i'll forget the show, so i have to buy the dvds to remember it by something,
it will definetly be weird not watching smallville anymore, kind of sad, i dont want to think about it, because to me saying goodbye to smallville would be like saying goodbye forever to a loved one, i am so buying all the seasons, and i dont want this forum to be gone after or any of the other smallville forums, so sad, i'll be 17 when smallville ends, wow,even 10, 20 years from now, i want to be able to play a smallville dvd, and watch all the epi, pathetic, i know, but thats just me.
i want to buy the dvds, but i got this regret, that i shouldnt, is it worth it buying all the seasons, becuase i want to go buy it, and i can tommorow or whenever, but i feel like i will regret it, i feel like its not worth it,
If you're a huge fan of Smallville then it's definitley worth it.
Well that's just my opinion anyway.. when I have a craving to watch it, I can put it on anytime. Well, usually; since most of the time I don't even have it home with me due to friends always borrowing them.
But still, I think having the box sets is good.
They're only $50 a season now.. I bought the early seasons for $80.

i want to get the seasons, and am the biggest fan of smallville, but i just keep thinking i will regret it, becuase im the kind of person that buys dvds, watches it a couple of times, and never touches them again, but i will buy it, no matter what, cause the show is wonderful and i want to remember it, and i guess the dvds will remind you of the show, all the amzing and sick scenes, the whole lot.
I was thinking the same thing but then I thought exactly like you did I want to see all the awesome scenes and episodes again, then again, then again when ever I want. I reckon the DVD's are a must buy.
Since the early seasons were re-packaged into the slim line, many stores have stocked alot of them in.
I think the slim line packaging is awesome.. although the 'book' detailing the episodes were pretty cool that came with the old packaging. I have the first three packaged in the fat packaging w/ the book.
If only the book was released also with the slim line, but alas it's not.
