SMALLVILLE CASTING

Despite unsourced published reports, actor Michael Cassidy has not signed yet to appear in The CW's Smallville as the new editor-in-chief at The Daily Planet.
It's possible that Cassidy will end up in the role, but as of Monday afternoon that was not official.
Neither the network nor Warner Bros. has announced him in the role.
The character's name is Grant Gabriel. He is scheduled to appear for the first time in the second episode of the upcoming season and might have some romantic involvement with Lois Lane.
The announcement of the character who will be playing Supergirl will be made at Comic-Con International in San Diego on Saturday, July 28. According to sources, that role has not been cast yet.

How cool would it be if an undertaker (the morgue person) examines the body.. and then Chloe suddenly awakens. evileye

Should be an awesome scene.



And apparently the second episode is titled "Kara"

Apparently, Chloe is deader than a doornail at the beginning of the episode. Like dead DEAD! A "creepy" morgue scene has been described where this is shown. She doesn't stay dead, however. After being informed by a nurse that Chloe has been moved to the morgue, Clark hears her screaming and uses his X-Ray vision to scan the body drawers where he sees her thrashing around - and saves her. Of course.

Well the dream of many, many, many fans of Superman and 90's TV Show "Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman" might become true this season. TV Squad in its coverage of the HBO's TCA reports that Dean Cain himslef revealed that he is in talks with Smallville's producers to play a role on this upcoming season.

So lets cross fingers!!!!


We might have more info about it next week on the CW's TCA.
