During Clark's battle with the last Phantom Zone wraith, Lex is rescued by a mysterious woman. Chloe is declared dead in the ER, while Lois goes to Lex's manor to find out more about Lana's death.
So it finally came two days ago, to those who have already downloaded and watched it; what did you think?
Overall I thought it was an amazing start to the season. Lots of special effects and emotion.
I personally loved the last bit where Lana was revealed. Awesome song choice too.

A great start to the season imo. The opening scene was perfect to get an understanding on what this season will be about.
How CK vaporises the water and speeds away with the kid seeing him. I was amazed by that.
I agree with you SloaneClone, the Lana bit near the end was also perfect and I love that song choice, at first I was thinking, this is a strange song choice but as the montage kept going I was left in amazement by the end. Wow!
Visual effects were awesome, the dam water and the underwater scene with Lex trapped in the car, although they could have done a little more work on that scene to make it look real, imho But the flying of Kara was awesome!
Yes I agree. The whole episode was brilliant imo. Was all done really well... I felt a real "Superman" vibe when clark boiled the dam water and nodded to that kid, epic!
And Lana at the end, I was so happy she was still alive. Hopefully she will be back on the SV scene soon!
All in all, an amazing ep! Cant wait for next week!

The last 5 minutes showed so much emotion, without having any dialogue too.

When Clark and Lana were both looking up at the moon, amazing. I guess it showed they were both thinking about each other.
Kara's scenes, though little were awesome too.

I havent read any spoilers this time like I did during season 6 and by doing so you get such a great appreciation on the episode. Coz nothing is ruined.
I thought it was a brilliant episode finally it feels a lot more like superman as per Snark's comment now we need him to get flying which lets face it, it is superman and I have been waiting for more powers/abilities to come on. (Sorry my opinion anyway)

It was a good premiere, though the fight between Clark and Bizzaro ahould have lasted longer but Bizzaro will be back for more episodes so there will be more fighting. I like the scene when Bizzaro grabbed Lois @ss, it was so funny. Also the scene when Clark saved that little boy from the water, it was so Superman like. And when Clark was healed from the sun that was such a Superman moment. The last few min were really good too, and Lana taking of her blond wig in China, that was so awesome. Overall it was a good episode but it needed just that something extra.
oh yeh i forgot about that part, *giving myself a wierd look* when that kid says "wow", I thought I was watching a superman movie. That scene was perfect.
