Like Superman, Flash Gordon originally was a comic book that they turned into a TV series. The new Flash Gordon follows Flash (Eric Johnson - AKA: Whitney Fordman, the guy who used to be Lana's boyfriend way back in the first season) and his companions, Dale Arden and Dr. Hans Zarkov through wild and momentous adventures. They're ordinary people thrust, often against their wishes, into extraordinary circumstances. They are Earth's last defense against the forces of a merciless dictator named Ming.

Oops I started this thread and forgot about it.. Sorry to be a spoil sport but Tollie I am not aware of Flash Gordon ever being associated with JLA or JLU sure you are not confusing it with The Flash who is a core member of JLA? And Michael Rosenbaum voiced (for a while anyway) Flash Gordon was first published in 1934 so he is about as old as the man of steel. The best know recent flash Gordon was the 1980s movie which Queen did the sound track for. Finally I am not sure if the Sci Fi channel in Oz is going to put it on but I would think it would only appear on that that than free to air as it is a Sci Fi channel original production.It is an excellent series I think anyway.
Oops yeah you're right silvermini63 Flash G. isn't in JLA it's the other one! There are too many 'Flash' characters to keep track of! Thanks for correcting me
