I like how this episode was a forshadow of the whole "Clana" thing. And also it was a stab at the internet fandom complaining about Lana, and how she's stopping Clark from his destiny.
Do you think the Warrior Angel storyline of how Warrior Angel's girlfriend died will happen in Smallville? i.e. Lana dying?
I think this episode showed two ways of how Clark and Lana will end their relationship.
1. Lana realising that the world will need Clark more then she will (which was mentioned in this ep), breaking her heart to save the world.
or,
2. Lana dying, which makes Clark leave Smallville for good, becoming Superman.
I'm okay with both options, but if it were up to me, I'd pick the first.
I'm really enjoying the Clana moments, and I like how Lana trusts Clark so much. I mean, she saw her man with a sexy hollywood star almost making out. Did she freak out? Nope. Which I think is amazing.
What I'm not really enjoying so far is the whole Lionel/Lana storyline. I understand that Lionel put Lana through all types of hell, and that she needs closure. But if this ends up why Clark breaks up with Lana over, then I won't be happy.
And has anyone noticed how awesome each episode has ended in Season 7 so far? I think Clark reassuring Lana that he wasn't going anywhere -yet- was a nice touch. And that red cape reference, wow. I like how leaving it on the fence meant he's not ready to be a superhero yet.
Overall, excellent episode.

i have a feeling that, lana will coerce clark into fulfilling his destiny, What that psycho guy was telling her about how she is holding him back is 100% true!!! i think if she has any brains about her than she will let him go soon!!! I hate the thought of it, but i reckon will happen VERY VERY SOON!!! AND the issue with lionel/lex doesnt help either, lionel will interveine and give clark more reason 2 leave her!! soo its kind of a 2 way thing...BUT in the end clark is gonna leave smallvillle!!!

The warrior angel plot was awesome and there were so many clues for Clark practically shouting that he is a hero and the world needs him. OMG, Lana is, i dont even know what to say about her. The writers have ruined her character. She is a evil, evil %$#@. I really dont like her anymore because she is full on lying to Clarks face, Why would she go that far to just get revenge on Lex, there is more to that, could she be doing that becasue she was hurt and because...i dont even want to say it. He needs to dump her and get on with his life, be the hero that he is meant to be. Loved the cape scene, he leaves it on the fence, i think that is a sign, meaning he is not ready yet, he doesn't need yet. When Clark was saving Lana it looked like he was flying. It was such a cool episode.

Well i gotta agree with everyone else "Action" has been one of the best episodes this season. It sparked more questions than it answered. It had some cool action scenes. It had some great Clana moments. And great symbolic points. Couldn't ask for more in a Smallville installments.
I hope they keep up it up.

Just finished watching this episode on the weekend. Fantastic. God Lanas a bitch. And i'm actually not liking the Clana moments, when I had always been a Clana fan, but now.... she's evil...!! EVIL!
Yes an excellent episode indeed, I do believe that Lana will walk away from Clark as killing her off isnt superman. The thing about Smallville is it is a story about Superman and although mythical it is that old that certain things I feel have to kept. Not to say I dont like what Smallville has done as it is excellent and has opened up Superman to many a new younger and older fan.
Yes Superman comics and the big/small screen have different takes there are somethings that are just the same.
Glad to see no supergirl in this episode as the sort to set her up has taken a bit out of possible stories that will now and can come due to this episode and I feel at the end of season 7 people will look at this one and say it started from there.
