well... that episode had more twists and turns than any other that i had seen.
JULIAN?!?!?!
oh come on, we've already played the long lost brother card.. and lord knows how many times the amnesia storyline has been put into play...
all in all i found it a very strange episode... i wouldnt call it 'great' like some of the other more recent ones have been... it kind of seemed as though they ran out of ideas and just bought a few people back from the dead and made some lose their memory.
eh, i hope its going to get better really soon. i wanna see some chlark or clois for sure.
I loved the family el plot with all the kryptonians, zor-el, lara, kara and clark. That was some great stuff and i liked it all. The blue ring was awesome, and zor-el is quite good also.
Kara losing her memory and ending up in Detroit, Michigan is really weird and i can't wait for more on this, and she apparently doesn't have her powers because she would have ripped that door handle off.
But i saved the best for last.
i have to copy snark here and put it in massive letters.
GG IS JULIAN LUTHER, OMG!
A great twist but i dont buy it, at all. The guy is probably a clone or something and there has to be a reasonable explaination. Then all the previous episodes don't connect and the Luthor story is messed up. Plus isn't he supposed to be 15 or around that age now anyway?
It's really messed up and i hope that the writers can explain this one.
I really liked the kryptonians all together but that's all that i liked.
yes i thought so as well... i was trying to figure out his age... say clark was 2/3 when they found him in the field...i don't know how old lex was then but it still would have been a couple of years AT LEAST before julian would have been born... making him yeah about 15... weird.
yeah that is an interesting point with the ages of all, but about this ep, wow it seriously had twists involved huh? When I heard Julian I was left in shock! I'd like to see how they develop this story. Should be pretty interesting.
I was actually disapointed with this episode, i was expecting much more. In fact, i would say i was bored during it, because while most episodes of smallville you cant rip me away from the computer/tv, but this one, i got up, did something else, and came back and watched the rest of it. I didn't like the twist with GG being the long lost / dead brother, kind of weird, something has to be up with that. I liked at the end, poor Kara lost in Detroit, and you think Clark would be upset that he caused her to disappear and be out super speeding around the planet trying to find her, but OH NO, just continue on, and hope that she's somewhere alive. ha ha.
Yeah, I don't know but I didn't really like it either, there was just something missing. I was disinterested.
I don't know, but the show seems to be getting side tracked. It use to be a bit more clever and realistic in how Clark found out about his parents. Now they are just creating clones and he has a whole bloody family.
The whole story of superman being alone and being an outcast is alot more interesting, and I realise that they were trying to show that when he was trying to latch on to his mothers life, but I don't know, it just isnt the same.
Yes have to agree with you Peter.... it's going way off track it is the story of Superman before he was the superhero we all love...... just look at JLU or comic books and Kara isn't around til he is the man of steel.....
I say get back on story before they trash the myth completely....
I do know it can be interpreted in any way people choose but don't go to far from the origins.
