hahahaha good one i'm a fan but $500 bucks. thats like a weeks pay. what tha... com on i bet himself, his managment team etc etc earn enough and wont miss few thousand $. honestly. especially since fans are the ones who make their millions for them... if u know what i mean. i think its a bit rude - or the dinner must be spectacular!!! dining on gold plates and really big after dinner mints.................
$500 is alot of money, but it would definitely be worth it & it's a once in a life time thing. The $75 ticket would be brilliant too, with that you get to go to the convention thing & see Michael at his Q & A,and he'll be doing an autograph session & photo session with fans too!

Yes $500.00 is a lot of money but this is something that Michael rarely does. The only reason he is doing the dinner is that he really wants to come to Australia and he agreed to do it for that reason alone. It is something he has never done in the States so it is something very special for Australian fans. So how much do you think it should be to sit down to dinner with Lex Luthor? You only have to look at things like dinner with Shane Warne or even ex President Clinton which charge thousands to tens of thousands for a seat at a dinner, and in most cases you do not get to sit with the guest only listem to them give a talk. Here you get the best of both worlds with a private dinner and then the con the following day where Michael will do a Q&A.
It would be incredible! If I wasn't so shy I'd have bought a VIP ticket in a second.Yes $500 is alot, but it's for something that's really, really fantastic.I hope Michael has a really great time here,it's wonderful that he's coming to Australia.I bought a general ticket for Michael's Q&A.Just to see him in person will be brilliant!!!!!!
The event promises to be a great opportunity to meet Michael. If you've never been to one of these kind of things, check out photos from a lot of previous Australian Events on My website (if you go to the second page there are photos of Jon Schneider's visit to Brisbane a few years back too). Events marked as "First Contact Conventions" will give you the best idea of what happens as they will be running the Melbourne event.
I unfortunately just read that Michael's visit here is going to be postponed to a later date (yet to be announced),I really, really hope that Michael will still come here & that it won't be cancelled. But the tickets are still on sale right now for both Sydney & Melbourne. It says on the website that they'll be announcing the new dates soon.
The new dates are up for Michael's visit to Australia & they are - Melbourne 31st January 2009 & Sydney 1st February 2009! Wow,I didn't expect it to be that far away, but the man running it said that those new dates fit into Michael's schedule.I really, really hope these dates are final & that Michael comes here.Tickets are on sale here -
