What are your thoughts??? Do u think smallvilles ratings will improve, or do u think channel 10 are happy with it rating around just 800,000 viewers each episode?
Well I think thats why they are putting it twice a week so they can get more viewers into it and in there face. But my friend is loving it and regrets not getting into it when it was first on, so thats a good thing.
SV just needs more time and better advertisment, I mean they should try to make a way that will attract people, now most are thinking "Is it worth watching, its all bullshit anyways" Im sure many people are thinking that. If I didnt watch it on channel 9 I probably wouldnt have given it a chance!! I dont know! But I am glad that I did.
But i would love to advertise SV to more aussies and this website also.
I dont know - we might find that people stop watching as time progresses. BUT it is the only decent thing on Thursday nights at least (and usually on Sundays too but that depends on which movie the other channels put on IMHO)
Do we know why they started mid Season two? were they picking up where channel 9 left it - mid season?
If people are enjoying Smallville to watch it now, maybe like what Peter said, it will be much more popular!! and they mite air it until Smallville is finished!! *hopes*
Its only been a few weeks and its doing great, compared to C9's rating, isnt it?
Smallville got 806,000 or 810,000 viewers on Thursday 15 December ("Witness" episode)?
Good to see that Thursdays screening has had a ratings increase, its now into its 800K having in previous week hovered around the high 700,000 viewer mark.
I'm not happy. They only had six more episodes to show before the season finale...SIX!!!! This is so unfair...every time I get into a show, it get's taken away....
I must admit Channel 10 has very few TV shows I like so when they take off one of the few great shows they do have (Im talking about Smallville) and place some crap game show or re-runs of Simpsons on instead it really bugs me.
Maybe the problem with the poor ratings has to do with channel 10's lack of following through and completing the whole seasons episodes, Who are these people who decide on the ratings anyhow, I've never been asked and personally my viewing tastes do not reflect the rating polls. TV for me is all about escapism NOT Reality TV shows (like Big Brother, quiz shows, TV Soaps and cooking demos), I live a real life why do I need to watch people on TV doing the same. http://www.sparkimg.com/emoticons/angered.gif Shane.
i dont think they will for awhile they have pretty much shown it from halfway through the second season to the end of the 4th and they say the will do the 5th. so i dout that they will show it.

i love smallville. i have the first four seasons on dvd.
Even if season 6 (or even season 5) isn't screened on commerical TV, at least we can be pretty confident that they will be released here on DVD. And in fact in some ways I prefer watching the show on DVD, because you don't have any edits or the interuption of commercials.
I'm just a little concerned now that it's on Fridays. Just because that usually people go out on Friday nights. And taping it does nothing for the ratings does it, well if you leave the t.v on....

Smallville rated 812,000 this week. That's an increase of over 100,000 from last week where it got 690,000. I think Smallville's ratings will increase even further when it starts on 7:30 pm mondays.
