Series 5 is finished in the USA and the DVD is scheduled for August 29 06 release.


Channel Ten in Sydney wont say if they will continue through to Series 5 either.


I cannot wait to see series 5.


Meanwhile Series 6 has been confirmed to start in USA in September around the 16th.

I am sure they will. I am in Las Vegas now and trying to buy series 5 on dvd but it seems I need to wait tillsept.

Is there really going to be a seris 6. Is he going to be superman or is it still leading up to it?

They start filming series 6 in Sept in the US, the same time as Series 5 comes out on DVD. Series 6 is still Clark as Clark, the producers of Smallvile only ever intended the show to be 7 series which took clark to Metropolis and the start of his life as Superman.


This sadly will be where Smallville finishes apprently.

well Smallville was only ever meant to be about Clark's life, and those around him, whilest he was a teenager. Superman is his adult life, so it makes sense the show will be drawing to a close soon. Sucks I know...but they had no illusions from the very begining the direction of his journey.

i know it's cheating but go 2 www.youtube.com and type in smallville and you can see the season 5 season finale. IT IS SOOOOOO GOOD. I few blanks need 2 be filled in by watching season 5 first, but i couldn't wait!!!!

I just watched 'Vessel' too, the last episode series 5, wow, there is such a gap between end of series 4 to what I saw... I need answers, roll on sept 12 for Series 5 release !

I'd rather wait till I see the episode on tv or dvd before watching ripped illigal files online, but that's just me.

I want to buy it on ebay as well. But i am having enough trouble playing the region 4 smallvilles on dvd on my PC that i do not want to riak buying region 1 dvds from the states.

The best way to watch these region 1 dvd's is as I found out buy a cheap asian made dvd player !They play anything, I buy USA DVD's alot as I travel there.


I bought a dvd for $49 from Dick Smith in Sydney and it plays all regions.
